Summer Session

Yellow Wood Academy provides daily enrichment programs, courses for credit and tutoring in just 5 weeks - still leaving plenty of time for summer fun! Keeping connected with education throughout the summer will help to prevent summer learning loss or the "summer slide." 

Programs:

Earning Credit (9-12 Grade)
0.5 Credit (10 hrs/wk) | 0.25 Credit (5 hrs/wk)

High school students can take a quarter or semester during the summer to get a head start or replace a past grade.

Lessons & Tutoring
Any Time | Any Day

Students can come to campus for any number of hours where they can keep up with their academics this summer or pick up a new skill or begin learning a class of interest.

Extended School Year (ESY)
Contact your IEP Team

For students placed through districts, Extended School Year (ESY) is an option to be considered by the IEP (Individualized Education Plan) team. Students who qualify for ESY at YWA can look forward to a targeted and engaging program to support their goals.
